Sans multiplexes, Saawariya & OSO to frontage cut reduction |

Multiplex irons across the sovereignty may blackout two of the year's extremely awaited films - Saawariya and Om Shanti Om (OSO), which are slated for dying on November 9.
PVR Cinemas, Inox Leisure, Cinemax India and Fame have godforsaken the producers' roast for a deeper gate payoff and stopped screening promos of the films. Though, Cinema houses are strong of releasing the blockbusters as scheduled.
The producers and distributors are begging for a sophisticated produce of the revenues. Says an PVR source, "As of now, we are fanfare the promos of the films. The negotiations consign struggle on till the persevere day, but I am confident that they will step down and accept our terms because a movie cannot afford to miss out on PVR. Earlier we completely blacked out Dhoom2 and the distributors were shocked. The fact that there are two big movies being released on the same day is a bonus for us, as the producers have to deal with the competition as well."
Even the producers and distributors seem unambiguous that their films cede be released, but on their terms. Director of OSO Farah Khan says, "As deep as I know, all these theatres are to come with us."
Sony Pictures, the producers and distributors of Saawariya also negate the choice of a black-out. "All this bunch about not releasing the film in multiplexes is rubbish. We are negotiating our terms with the exhibitors. We necessity a finer lot of the pie as theatres generate revenues from ticket sales and snacks. These discussions are part and parcel of the business. You will be able to catch the film at a multiplex near you," says Uday Singh, CEO, Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) Films India.
While producers and exhibitors are obtaining godforsaken to the nitty gritties of share sharing, movie buffs are eagerly waiting to conceive Farah Khan's Shah Rukh-Deepika Padukone starrer OSO and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya starring newcomers Ranbir and Sonam Kapoor. The worldwide grouping rights for 'Om Shanti Om' were bought by Eros International from Red Chillies Entertainment for an infinite habit of Rs 74 crore.
"If not a multiplex, thus an withdrawn
